Tim Deters has over 25 years of development experience throughout the western United States, including vast experience in low, mid, and high-rise residential product. In addition to owning and developing more than 9,500 multifamily units in Nevada, Arizona, and California he has also developed more than 3 million square feet of urban village, mixed use, restaurant, retail, and professional space. During his career, Tim has assembled and developed two master planned communities and has worked with local, regional, and national companies on expansion and development projects. While serving on the Board of Directors for Integrated Financial Associates he oversaw a $600MM portfolio of loans and assets in 10 different states throughout the US. Tim is extremely well versed and experienced in all aspects of project entitlement, design build, development, asset stabilization, asset disposition and finance.
Paul Fritz holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. He has over 31 years of experience in land development including extensive work in the site/civil engineering profession; of which 28 have been in the Las Vegas/Southern Nevada area. Paul possesses a broad range of work experience in various disciplines including project management, due diligence/feasibility, planning and entitlements, drainage/hydrology, geotechnical engineering, surveying, cost estimating, site civil design and grading, mapping, off-site/on-site improvements, computer aided design (CAD), roadway/utility infrastructure design and construction administration for numerous commercial, business park, retail, educational facility, residential, and industrial civil engineering land development projects. Paul has been the Engineer of Record and specializes in the design and management of site civil improvements for commercial, business, and industrial parks, retail shopping centers, shopping malls, office, and flex facilities, elementary, middle, high, and university schools, parks, multifamily developments, and storage/warehouse centers. During his tenure in the Valley, he has been the engineer in charge for many of Nevada's leading land developers and public agencies.
Tonya started in construction in Colorado as a construction administrator. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Las Vegas, NV where she became a part of the TRU Development team as an Engineering Project Coordinator. Tonya assists the Civil Engineer with proposals, contracts, and agency submittals. She loves being outdoors, camping, fishing, and hiking. She is also a Golden Knights fan.
Alexandra received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in 2011. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to San Diego, CA where she stared her Real Estate career with The Irvine Company, managing daily multifamily operations including major capital projects and reinvestment renovations. She transitioned into asset and accounting management for a private equity firm based in La Jolla, CA. There she managed the operational and financial performances of multifamily and mixed-use assets in various markets nationwide. In addition, she oversaw accounting functions for all multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, and hotel assets. She was a full charge accountant for all joint venture level accounts and prepared quarterly and annual reports for lenders and investors. She has experience in acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and repositioning of commercial real estate assets, bringing 10 years of valuable experience to the TRU team!
Lauren Bigler was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada where she experienced firsthand the rapid growth of the city. She comes to us with over 16 years of experience in connected industries. Lauren worked for Pinnacle Property Management for many years where she managed multi-family assets including class-A lease ups, renovation projects, extensive financial reporting, and client relations. Lauren spent multiple years working in the real estate industry with Realty One Group and Haines & Krieger Realty. She was responsible for processing REOs, negotiating short sales and assisting clients with equity sales. She also comes to us with financial lending experience. She worked for Mann Mortgage for a top producing broker where she managed daily operations and loan processing. She has experience processing Conventional/FHA/VA, Refinances, Jumbo Loans and HELOCs. In her free time, Lauren enjoys golfing and traveling.
Gavin was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada where he attended Palo Verde High School. Prior to joining the TRU team, he held a position at Helix Electric as an apprentice where he produced over 30,000 apartment accessories. He is also certified OSHA 30, along with over 40-hours of AutoCAD and Civil 3D training. Gavin is attending the business management school at Columbian Engineering. Gavin’s internship at TRU includes assisting in land development, CAD drafting support, due diligence, site feasibility analysis and operations. In Gavin’s spare time he likes to hit the gym and go rock climbing.
Keith Hatton, P.E., is a registered professional engineer in the state of Nevada with extensive civil engineering experience in land and commercial development projects in Nevada, California, and Arizona. Born and educated in the United Kingdom, he came to the United Stated where he became a US citizen and ultimately became a licensed Civil Engineer. Over a career centered on civil engineering he became experienced at developing complex projects from concept to completion for several major clients. Having worked in the Las Vegas area for over 20 years he is very proud of many projects that he has been responsible for. These include St. Rose Dominican Hospital – Siena Campus expanded neonatal intensive care unit. As engineer of record, it was an exciting project working alongside Kitchell Design Build contractors and TSK Architects.
